Halloween, Lindy, House and Pregnancy

It's been awhile since I've posted anything and honestly my mind is overwhelmed when I think about the past few weeks and what has happened.
Last week was my favorite holiday!
And everything was perfect!
I cannot remember the last time that I didn't wear a jacket walking around trick-or-treating!
We met at Ginger's house and walked her neighborhood this year.
I love all my nieces and nephews!
About halfway through, we decided to play a trick on whoever opened the door.
Instead of saying "trick-or-treat", we told them to say "happy birthday!"
It was pretty hilarious to watch the people's reaction.
They didn't really know what to say.
So the resorted to complimenting the kids on their costumes.
I didn't get any pictures...horrible I know...but this is what the kiddies were:

Cooper - Two Face (from bateman) Amber made him the most awesome suit ever!
Sadie - Nice Skeleton (she made sure to say that she was a nice one)
Ben - Ute fan
Brinley - stayed home not feeling well
Brooks - Mario
Carter - Hawkeye (most attractive one I've ever seen! ;))
Reese - Flapper girl, She had fake eyelashes on...oh man! she is going to knock those boys out!
Braxton and Brody were ninjas
and Little Man was a pumpkin ;)

They got soo much candy!
and a ton of HUGE candy bars!
I don't think I ever got a big candy bar trick-or-treating!

Lindy and Matt came from Cali last Thursday for my baby shower.
It was soo much fun to see them!
We had a party for them on Friday and they had an announcement to make...
No they aren't pregnant.
But that definitely was what we knew they would think.

Matt and Lindy are going to be sealed for Time and all Eternity in February!
Road trip to Cali!!! woohoo!

They got ten balloons, pink, blue and white (of course everything thought she was pregnant) and put pieces of paper in each one that had a random drawing on it.
In the tenth balloon, she folded a piece of paper, that said "Forever February 2012", around a picture of the San Diego Temple and stuffed it in.
That balloon was mine.
They made sure that each kid had a balloon to pop including Little Man.
It was hilarious watching them try to pop the balloons.
Brody put his on the ground and would jump and land on his bum on the balloon.
The balloon didn't pop and he bounced right off.
It was soo funny!
I was the last one to pop my balloon and I was sitting next to my Mom.
Honestly...I HATE popping balloons.
I hated it when they would play that stupid game in school and made you sit on the balloon to pop it.
I can't do it.
And even though I had a sharp object to pop my balloon...I still made my Mom do it.
and I did scream...
I told my Mom to open it up and her face was priceless.
There were cheers, hugs and tears all around the room.
Then the planning began...love trips!

Saturday we had the Hoellein shower and I always have a blast with my sisters!
Getting all the stuff just made it more realistic that this kid is coming soon!
And the excitement is getting higher and higher! :)
I have the Bartholomew shower this weekend and am going to be overwhelmed with baby stuff.
I have no where to put everything yet...
So it's at my parents house in their computer room.

The house is still coming along.
slowly...We are both getting tired and when I'm not at the house with Dev, he likes to take his sweet time doing things.
We have to finish the floors, tile and paint.
Then we can move in!
Not a whole lot right....?
It just takes so much time...
I'm hoping by the end of next week we'll be able to move in but I'm not getting my hopes up.
We've passed so many deadlines that I just want to get in before this Little Man comes.

I am currently 35 weeks and have 4 weeks and 2 days left.
Or 30 days!
AH!
I'm more excited than nervous now!
Things are calming down and I have time to take care of some other things that I need to.

Here's something to make you smile/think
Happy Wednesday!
