Baby Update

This last weekend was really cool.
Baby B actually hit my hand twice!
It was the coolest feeling ever!
Dee tried to feel it but the movements right now aren't that constant cuz baby is still growing strong bones.
And he didn't have the patience to sit there until the next time baby kicked.
He'll feel it soon though.
Our appointment is next Wednesday (the 25th)!
We are soo excited!
To make it fun and include family and friends, we are taking bets on what the gender is going to be.
The people who guess the correct gender will be entered into a drawing for movie tickets, restaurant gift card, etc.
We are so excited!
To tell our parents, we are going to have a pink and blue balloon and both of us will have a pin...
hehehe
We are both going to go up to pop the balloon but only one of us will.
It's going to be so much fun!
For my sisters, since they all live up north and that's where our appointment is, we are going to tie the color of the gender to their car or maybe even deliver it personally.
I am going to come up with a cute poem or something that says we are either keeping the trend going of having a boy first, or breaking the trend and having a girl.
Next Wednesday is going to be so much fun!

Yesterday I was getting ready for work, putting lotion on my belly, when I looked down at my belly button.
It wasn't mine!!!!
Ok, it really was but the top has started to poke out!
This is how the conversation went with Dee:

Me: Dee!! This is not my belly button!!!
Dee: Yes it is babe
Me: No it's not!! My belly button doesn't poke out!
Dee: That is your belly button
Me: They don't usually start poking out until you are like, 7 or 8 months!
Dee: *Laughing* Maybe you'll be done sooner ;)

He was talking about when you bake a turkey you have the red thing that pokes out when it's done.
It was so funny!
And my belly button is still poking out.
But only the top part of it.
The bottom part is still how it is suppose to be.
I'm hoping that as my belly continues to grow that it will flatten out again and not poke out until I'm farther along.
I guess that is only 2 - 3 months away!
I can't believe how quick everything flies by!!
I will be 20 weeks, 5 months, on Sunday!!
December is going to be here before we know it!
And I'll have snowbaby and be a mommy!
AAHHH!!
It's sooo exciting but yet nerve wrecking at the same time!
My life is going to change, for the good, in December.
Whether I'm ready or not for it, it is going to happen.
