Christmas Vaca

It is almost here!!!
Only 7 more hours!!
I canNOT wait!
I get off an hour earlier today and am off work until January 3rd due to a mandatory HP shutdown.
What company completely shuts down for a week...?
odd right?
I thought so to until I started working here and know I embrace the idea.
7 work days....
11 days total....
264 hours...
1321.213 sec...ok...so i'm not going that far.
But I am excited!
Dee might even have next week off too!
One of their companies decided not to work so they are not working?
something like that :)
If he does have it off....
He is actually going to keep his promise after 3 years and teach me how to snowboard!
We have been soo busy that past 3 years to even make it to a little hill to work on my balance.

Next week, no excuses at all. :)
In the midst of enjoying 11 days of not even thinking about work,

we have Christmas!

Quote from the Grinch

We are leaving for Bear Lake on Friday morning and I cannot wait!
Amber said that they have a pretty good amount of snow up there!
What is Christmas without snow?
I guess if the snow can't come to us, we will go to the snow :) HA
We are going to play with my adorable niece and nephew,
cook with Amber and Shawn,
and lounge around doing nothing.
I always learn how to cook something new when I go up to the lake.
This year, Shawn is going to make an Uh-Oh Cake.
Or something like that.
This is going to be delicious!
Another thing on the Bear Lake agenda,
Amber, Tara, my Mom and myself are singing Monotone Angel at Amber and Shawn's ward Christmas party.
It is going to be hilarious!
Amber is going to be the Monotone Angel moving around the stage and singing....horribly beautifully, while Tara, my Mom and I give her interesting looks and...well..pretty much do what Hoellein's are good at.
Being dorks. :)
It's going to be soo comical.
If I can, I will get a video to share with the rest of you. :)

Next is Christmas Day!
We will spend Christmas Morning at the lake with the kids opening their presents from Santa
and then we will head home to open our own presents and see some more family.
We are heading out to Matt and Mandee's around 3 to eat, open more presents, and goof off.

I am soo excited for Christmas and can't wait for it to come.
I love spending time with family chatting, laughing, goofing off, and just being us.
I love even more the Man that is always at my side :)
He has made these past 2 1/2(married) years the best!
And I know that we have soo many more down the road to make even better.
Happy Holidays and
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Easy to make banner.

Christmas Party

Tonight is the first Christmas party of the year!
woohoo!!
I'm soo excited!
We are having the Newman Christmas party tonight.
I love spending time with family laughing, talking, goofing off....
and if the kids have been good enough...
maybe even see Santa!
I love Christmas and spending time with family.
Over the years my love for family and the true meaning of Christmas has become more and more important to me.
Dee and I aren't giving a lot of presents this year,
we aren't even waking up to open presents.
We are waking up at Bear Lake to watch the kids see what they got from Santa and their amazing smiles spread across their little faces.
There is nothing more special than seeing my nieces and nephews smile, laugh and play.
I can't wait until I have one of my own, or maybe I can, to do all the fun Christmas traditions with!

Saturday

Today has been a blast!
Dee and I woke up and cuddled for an hour before we got up and got going.
Let me back up to last night.....
Dee was soo excited to get home...

Dee "we have to hurry home so I can go to bed."

Bobby "why?"
Dee "because I have to get up to go shopping for you!"
Bobby "you have all day tomorrow"
Dee "but I have to get started early. I want to make sure I get everything I was for you!"

We got home....laid in bed...and he was out!
He woke up at 9 and was in a rush to get out the door.
That's when I made asked him to cuddle with me for a little bit. :)
at 10 he went shopping and I went to run errands.
After my errands I went to hang out at my parentals house.
Tara and I always have a blast!
We went to kohls with my Mom and Dad shopping for clothes and shoes.

I don't think my Mom has learned her lesson yet about taking me shopping with her.
I like to talk her into buying things that I know she will love. :)

The last thing I talked her into buying was a nice leather couch. :)

I kept talking her into buying things.
Don't worry....I also talked her out of buying them. ;)

Tara and I had a blast hanging out all day messing around, goofing off, and talking.
One more week until Christmas up at Bear Lake! :)

Finally Friday

I have been much happier since my last blog.
It really lifted some weight off my shoulders.
If I would have left it in and bottled it up, I would have exploded.
But today is Friday!
Finally..
I have been looking forward to this day all week.
It means movie for two hours.
For work we get to go see the new Sherlock Holmes (soo excited!)
I wish they were letting us bring our families though :(
usually they let us.
I wonder if the price went up to rent out three theaters because it's closer to Christmas...?
I don't know.
Today also means that I only have 4 days of work left!
Next week is a short week and then I am off until January 3rd!
HP mandatory shut down is pretty dang nice if you ask me. :)

A very Happy Friday

Last night was a weird night when it came to sleep.
Dee and I both feel asleep about 8 o'clock and woke up at 10:45 wide awake.
Maybe we shouldn't watch movies in bed...
We turned on Captain America, so far so good, and watched it until 1.
When we woke up, he slide over behind me and put his warm arms around me and whispered,
"I love cuddling with you. It is my most favorite thing to do."
He so knows what to say to make me smile :)
I have thee cutest hubby ever!
Yeah he may not be romantic all the time and acts like a dork,
but he's my dork.
We never have a dull moment!
and then out of nowhere BAM
He says something so sweet that totally surprises me.
It's moments like last night when I see more glimpses of our future and how we are going to be the older we get.
And I am liking what I am seeing :)
I guess I better be since I will be with him for time and all eternity

Venting...

If you don't like reading about people's problems or issues,
then you don't need to read the rest of this post.
Instead go cuddle up on the couch with a blanket and pop in a good movie.

out of the movies
Mr. Darcy
No one is perfect and the best way that I can get things off my chest is if I write, or type, it.
I love family and love being included in things.
But is it always a one way street?
I can only put so much into something for so long without getting anything in return.
There are some people that get angry and upset when myself or Dee don't participate in stuff
yet when we do...they don't include us in what they are doing.
Why would I want to put myself through the heartache and tears seeing everyone else laugh and talk while I sit in the back by myself?
It's ridiculous!
Now don't get the wrong picture here, I will put myself in the group so that I am "included" in the conversations but I'm really not...
It's like I'm a ghost...
Sound familiar..?
It feels a lot like high school with friends.
We have both tried to be the better person, and will continue to be the better person despite the heartache, because we love family.
But sometimes it's just plain ridiculous.
Obviously you know when you are leaving someone out.
It's not that hard to figure out.
Get over yourself and take your own advise that you give to other people!

That's my venting for awhile.
Now I'm going to snuggle up with my best friend and watch a movie.
I suggest you do the same :)

new movies yay!
My Favorite :)

Excited for Christmas

You know that moment when you think of the perfect gift to get someone?
Yeah....
That hit me yesterday on my drive home from work.
Now I am SOOO excited for Christmas!
There is nothing better than seeing my hubby's face when he opens his presents.
The smile that quickly spreads over his face.
The glow that he carries around all day.
The bragging....
:)
It's my favorite part about Christmas.
I am doing all of my Christmas shopping this weekend and I cannot wait!
Tomorrow can't come any sooner!

Christmas

For Christmas this year, Amber and Shawn invited us up to Bear Lake with them.
This is really going to be a fun Christmas.
Bear Lake always has snow and we are taking Mya up with us.
We want to hook her to a sled and pull the kids around this year.
I'll post pictures of that when it happens.
I love being surrounded by family that loves us.
I have the best brother, sisters and brother-in-laws in the whole world!
They are all so loving and caring.

Winter Lake

My two year anniversary is coming up for my accident soon.
I'll really let me feelings out when I post on that day.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Happy Friday

Finally...

I know it's been a few months but I usually blog while I'm at work.
I know....horrible employee.
But I get so bored sometimes that I need something to keep my insanity!
Here are the pictures from the half marathon that Mandee, Tanill and I ran.

It would have been so much better if my eyes were open...

My FAVORITE picture!

I can't wait for my next half in May!
Ogden 1/2 marathon under 2 hours....

Monday Morning

Today is a day when I want to call in sick and stay in bed cuddled up with a good book.

Bedroom

Doesn't that look so comfy and warm...?
Can you hear it calling your name?
I know I can hear it calling mine.

Aubry....
Aubry...
Come back to bed.
Come cuddle with me and I will keep you warm.

Oh how I would LOVE to answer my bed and come back home.
I would cuddle up with a good book.
and I know my bed would keep it's promise of keeping me warm.
It's hard in the morning to say goodbye to my bed between 5 and 5:30.
But I know I will see it again tonight.

Today is too cold of a day to get out of your bed to go to work.
I'm loving the snow and am so excited that it is Christmas time!
But the chilling to the bone winds in the morning(6 am) it too much for me.
I was getting gas this morning and was outside for two minutes and felt like I had frost bit!
It took me at least 10 minutes to stop shaking!
I'm not a fan of being cold...
It's not my best friend and we have never gotten along together.
But I do love the snow...
I know...
I love the snow but hate cold.
I just have to bundle up so my body doesn't get cold.
And also drink lots of this!
Pinned Image

Doesn't that look DELICIOUS!!
I think I'm going to go find a cup and make some delicious warm hot chocolate.
A girls best friend! :)

HAPPY MONDAY!

Happy Monday!

Saturday Morning

This morning was one of the best mornings I have had in a long time.
Both Dev and I slept in until 10!
Oh so nice!
Then as I was lazily waking up and about to get out of bed,
Dev comes down with a plate of food for me!
He made eggs, bacon and toast!
It was delicious!
First time in 2 1/2 years.
He's learning and I'm loving it ;)
I have the most sweetest hubby ever!
After we ate our delish breakfast,
we laid in bed cuddling and watched movies on netflix.
It was really one of the best saturday mornings ever.

It's official...again!

I'm a married woman again!
We got my ring last night and it is gorgeous!
I love it soo much!
We had a fun night driving to Park City.
They are the best drives ever!
We picked up my ring and talked to the jeweler about changing the main settings to princess cut on a point.
I can't wait until we change that and my ring is one of a kind.
Currently the center settings look like this:
1 CT. T.W. Diamond Three Stone Composite Ring in 14K White Gold - Zales
and we are going to change it to something like this:
Cherished Promise Collection™ 1/10 CT. T.W. Princess-Cut Quad Diamond Promise Ring in Sterling Silver - Size 7 - Zales
except the center will be a solid stone.
I'm soo excited!
but that is next year...
I can wait though :)
I'm just excited to have something shiny on my finger again!
Instead of just the one band though, I have three.
They are three separate rings we put together to make one.
I'm trying to get the picture I took but it didn't come through to my email so I'll have to try again.

It's so true what they say about women...
Shiny things makes everything better :)

Pie Night

Tonight is Pie Night!
or Pie Party...
whatever you want to call it I am making pies with my sisters, and mom, tonight!
I'm soo excited!
Every year before thanksgiving, we get together and make Pies! (obviously)
After we make the pies we always go see a movie.
It's a BLAST!
Leave the men at home with the kids, or with their brothers, and hang out with the girls!
I love my sister so much!
And am beyond grateful to have them as my very own sisters.
I have the best sisters in the world!
We always have a blast talking, joking around, making messes, and getting yelled at by mom. :)
It's never complete unless we hear,
"stop. you're making a mess"
or
"get out of my kitchen if you're going to do that"
I love my mommy.
I'm so thankful for my family and the joy that they bring to me.
These past few years have been some of the best with my family and I know that going forward the memories and laughs are going to get better and harder(laughs).
All of my sisters have the strength that sometime I don't.
I know I can go to each of them for anything anytime of the day.
My Mom is the most amazing woman I know.
She is my rock.
I know I can go to here in the middle of the night because of something that is bothering me and she will make everything better.
at least until the morning...

She has the sweetest spirit and is so in tune with the spirit.
I love her so much for it.

I'm soo excited for Pie Night with the girls, thanksgiving, and a four day weekend with my hubby!! :)
(more smooshy stuff to come tomorrow)

One reason why I love my job...

We have AWESOME promo parties!!!
Today we went over to Noah's for four hours and did whatever we wanted! :)
There was a theater room, racketball court, and a game room.
I got to work at 7 o'clock, talked to my dad and chilled, then went over to Noah's at 8 for some fun!
First I played ping pong, totally kicked butt, until the guy I was playing against broke his paddle.
NEXT GAME....
I played the arcade game and kicked butt again because the other joystick was broken and wouldn't move the guy.
HAHA!
I totally had the advantage!
Until I played the computer....he was cheating and using voodoo.
After the voodoo guy beat me, we went to the theater and watched the new pirates movie.
I absolutely LOVED it!
but then there aren't a lot of movies I don't like...
We still had two hours to kill so we played walleyball.
If you haven't played or even heard of walleyball you really need to play!!
It is volleyball on a racketball court!
Same rules as volleyball except you get to use the walls.
It is soo much fun!
If you know me, you know that my favorite move in soccer is slide tackling...
I love to dive and slide...
Even playing walleyball...
My knees got beat!
We played about five games and right before the pizza got there we were messing around.
I came down on my right knee and it kinda hurt...
When I finally got back to work, I looked down at my knee and had a HUGE golf ball there instead!
My knee was/is soo swollen on the left side under my knee!
I absolutely LOVE it!
I had to show everyone in the office!
I'm pretty proud of how hard I played and have something to show for it! :)
I can't wait until the Hubby gets home to show him my battle wound!
He'll be soo proud of me!! :)

Part One

Ok...so I did read the books in high school and I loved them.
The movies...they are pretty good.
I saw Breaking Dawn last night with Kayla, Maddi and some of Kayla's roomies.
It was a BLAST!
Part one was actually pretty good.
Bella and Edward actually are starting to turn into an actor/actress!
They both showed more emotion.
The only thing I wish that they would have done....
Chosen a good director and producer for all the movies instead of changing...
I'm not going to spoil anything but there are some things in this movie that for sure do not happen in the other ones.
and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
Don't worry....I'm sure I'll figure it out by the third time I see it.
Last night with Maddi and Kayla, tonight for Natalie's birthday, next Wednesday with my sisters for Pie Night.
It better be good for me to see it 3 times...

On a side note: I am REALLY excited for Hunger Games!!!
The trailer looked soo good!
Kayla, Maddi and I were all huddled together like little school girls squealing we were so excited!
That is going to be another fun date with the girls!

A little bit on work: Work has been getting better.
We are figuring out the process of things and how to report all our numbers.
There are still going to be some kinks that we need to work out but things are getting smoother by the day.
Because of all the calls I make, I do talk to some interesting people.
Some people just love to talk.
Yesterday I called a guy in Hawaii and he kept talking about his business and what he does(I think he was proud).
It was pretty fun to listen to him.
People like him make my job better.

I can't wait for this day to end and my weekend to start!
I so need a break from work.
And so does Dev...
He's not sure if he wants to stay with the company that he is currently with so again...he is looking at all his options.
He's not positive if he wants to stay or go but this is our life right now.
Trying to put things into place to move forward.
Both of us are really wanting to move out of state while we have no kids.
But then I would miss my sisters and most of all my nieces and nephews...
It's a hard decision..
But like I said, nothing is positive right now.
Just looking and seeing what else is out there.

Thanksgiving is almost here and I am so excited for Pie Night with the sisters!
We all get together and make pies then go see a movie(obviously Breaking Dawn Part 1).
This is one of the most funnest nights of the year!
There is always TONS of laughing!
Even through the movie. :)
and we LOVE to make friends with the people in front of us.
Haha!
Sorry for whoever sits in front of us during this movie :)

Sleepy, Soccer, Pain

I know...
It has been awhile since I have blogged.
It has been so busy the past few weeks!
Soccer is over for this year :( and I am going to miss my little boys
But it is also a nice break from their crying...
Sometimes I wonder if we are coaching little girls instead...

As far as works goes...
Last week I was in training all week because...
.....drum roll please.....
I got PROMOTED!!!
Woohoo!
I am on a brand spankin new team and we had to learn everything last week.
It's been a long process to get all the kinks out,
but hopefully they are all gone and we can start officially today.
I was working the 9 - 5 schedule that I am not a fan of.
I'd rather wake up at 5 and get off at 3:30(which I did change back to)
It so much more fun to have the evening to do whatever I want.
Dee also got a raise!
We are really happy right now where things are and where they are going.

Besides work and soccer...
I got something that is totally worth the pain...
I got braces!
Finally....
I'm excited for the ending results
even though it is in 1 1/2 years...
It's going to be worth the hurting, cuts, scrapes, wires and wax.
There are some definite benefits...
My lips are more plump!
haha!
Who needs botox?
Go get braces people!
geez....who knew?
;)
I'm still getting use to having 'stuff' stuck to my teeth.
I hate when you wake up and have the crap on your teeth.
I immediately have to brush my teeth when I wake up and the first morning I woke up with the braces on...
I was going crazy!
I wanted to rip them off.
Now I'm a little bit more use to them.
I just brush my teeth about 5 times a day. :)

Better than I thought...

I came in 4th!!
I was pretty happy about running the half marathon under 2 hours..
But finishing 4th in my age group!!!
That is awesome!! :)
They finally got all the pics posted too! yay! :)
I'll post the pics tonight when I get home.
Yes I do blog while I'm at work.
No one has told me 'no' so I'm ok :) ha!

Birthday Weekend

My weekend started on Wednesday Night.
Dev came home and had me pack a bag real quick.
First of all, Dev is HORRIBLE with surprises!
He can never keep anything in!
If I bug him about it at least twice he usually will give in and tell me what's going on
or
He'll tell our friends what he's doing with me sitting next to him...
I was beyond surprised!
He took me to Park City to stay at the Marriott that is right on the resort!
The one with the 6 hot tubs...
The green and white one you can see as you are going up the gondola...
Yeah... :) that's the one! :)
I was sooo surprised!
It was gorgeous!
It had a kitchin fully equipped, living room with a fireplace, a HUGE tub in our bed room, and then a bathroom.
I was in shock!
My hubby FINALLY pulled of an AMAZING surprise! :)
We went hot tubing that night as it rained on us.
It was so much fun!

When we woke up there was snow!
and...it was still snowing!
It was so pretty and so much fun!
but....I think we skipped a season....my favorite one too. :)
Since we don't have a tv, it was fun to just lay in bed watching tv.
And...we watched the best show EVER!
We watched Mickey Mouse Club House! :)
It was pretty fun!
We went to the Outlets and shopped at my most favorite store!
Can you guess which store it is...?
I'll give you a few clues...
In the upper section...
Biggest store there...
ok...I can't think of any others.. :)
We bought me a bunch of new clothes at the Nike store!
WOOHOO!
Because it was snowing, and blowing like crazy... we decided to leave a little earlier and go to Gateway.

We met up with Lindy and did some more shopping.
I'm slowing changing my wardrobe and we bought me two pairs of skinny jeans.
They had to order them in for me so I won't get them until this weekend.
But I am soo excited!
After we were dune at Buckle, Lindy took me to Aldo and we picked out some really cute ankle boots!
I am in love with them!
I can't wait to get more! :) hehe

Devin totally spoiled me that day!
And I think he had a blast doing it too!
We were both so happy!
No stress, no worries, hey! Hakuna Matata! :)

Friday, after work, I watched Sadie while Amber had a meeting.
We had so much fun walking through South Towne mall looking at everything.
I gave in and we bought some ice cream and some treats.
It's really hard to say no to my adorable niece! :)
Amber met up with us after and we bought some cute Halloween stuff for her Spooktacular at the Hallmark store.
We went to Noodles and Company to carb load.
Most amazing noodles I have had!
And their soda machine!!!! IT IS THE COOLEST!!
You choose what type you want, and then pick the flavor, and it all comes out the same place!
It was soo much fun!
We then went to Tai Pan to get more Halloween decor and had so much fun looking at everything!
After we were done, I went to my parents house to pick up Tara so we could head out to Mandee's house.

I slept at Mandee's so we could all take one car to the Marathon.
We were up until mid-night laughing at the most ridiculous things.
I think it was more that we were so tired.
But it was fun.
We were up at 5 getting ready to pick up Tanill at 5:30.
We were in Layton at 6 and waiting for the buses to take us to the start at 6:15.
They said that the last bus was leaving at 6:30 and not 6:31 so we had to get on a bus.
Of course, things never work out how they are planned, they were short a few buses and we didn't get on a bus until 7:15.
Did I mention it was FREEZING??!
We were soo cold!
Of course we weren't wearing sweats and hoodies.
Who would wear that running 26.2 or 13.1 miles?
That is INSANE!
We toughed it out and were at the start getting ready for everything to start a half our later.
We started in the middle of the Cause Way at 8.
This is going to sound insane but the run was so much fun!
Everything went perfect.
My breathing was under control, my legs weren't tired, and my mind was entertained with music and the pro photographers.
Every photographer that we passed, I made a face or flashed the peace sign.
I don't think they were expecting it.
Everyone is so serious.
Tanill took off at the beginning and I left Mandee in the dust at about one mile.
There isn't much to say about running 13.1 miles but I think you get the picture.
With about two miles left, Mandee caught up to me...that is a story I am not aloud to post or tell.
But it is hilarious!
I tried to catch up with her but my legs were so numb.
(at about mile 10 they went numb and I new I couldn't stop)
I sped up a little but not enough to catch up to her.
She was on a mission.
Tanill finish at 1:52
Mandee at 1:57
and I at 1:58
We made our goal!
Under two hours!
WOOHOO!!
It was also fun to come in to the finish line and to see, and hear, April, Todd, my Mom, Jake, Brody, Braxton, Ben, Brinley and Brooks cheering for me. :)
Next time Dee is going to be there.
No questions and no arguments :)
Right after that we went to Carter's soccer game and watched the last half.
They lost but did soo good!

After the soccer game, Mandee, Amber, Sadie and I went to get our toes done.
It felt so good to get my calfs massaged. :)
(this whole day I kept going and going with no down time)
Right after the manicure, I booked it home to shower and then go out with my besties for my birthday.
Maddi, Kayla, Alyssa and I went to Chili's and had a BLAST!
We were laughing so hard and often!
The little girl sitting behind Maddi and Alyssa kept turning around and glaring at us.
She was just jealous she wasn't having as much fun as we were. ha!
When dinner was finally finished and they got rid of us, we went bowling.
We had so much fun playing with the camera, talking, and bowling.
I have the bestest friends in the whole world!
After bowling, we went to Alyssa's new house!
O.M.G.....it totally screams Orton's right when you see it! :)
It was gorgeous!
She gave us the tour and then we just chilled.
It was a nice way to end the day :)
It would have been even better if Dee was waiting for me to come home :)
He's having fun with the 'Men' though :)
Next time I'll go with him.
That was my non-stop weekend and am excited for next year to run a full marathon! :)

Weekend Recap

My favorite weekend started on Friday night.
I called my Mom asking if they were going to be home so we could come visit.
She said of course they would be home.
Then....
"Do you want to go out to dinner for your birthday?"
OF COURSE!
After Dee got home and showered, we booked it over the my parents house to have a party!
Mom, Dad, Tara, Dee and I all went to Iggy's.
It was a BLAST!
The Utah State vs BYU game was on and we got front row(in front of the big screen).
It was a blast to cheer and not get in trouble because everyone was.
I had a lot of energy and sat next to Tara to make things worse.
It took me forever to choose what to eat so Tara and I just pointed at something and I ate that.
We had a blast making faces at each other and laughing our heads off.
And it didn't help that our waitress was really cute and loved me :)
She gave me my first birthday present
A cute stuffed pepper dude.
Tara and I named him (with French accent) Peppe the Pepper.
To make things even more hilarious...
right behind Dee sat Captain Hook and Tinker Bell!!!
No they weren't dressed up but their hair....
Captain Hook even had the mustache!!!!
It was soo funny!
Tara and I couldn't stop laughing!
and then we kept looking around for Smee.
Friday was a blast and a great way to start off my birthday celebrations! :)

Saturday
Dee and I woke up and he looked for a gun while I got ready.
We bought him a new gun for hunting.
The only downfall with buying a gun on Saturday was that he got to miss our first win!
We totally won at our soccer game!
My little boys did sooo amazing!
I am one, proud coach!
Mandee and I were jumping up and down after the game and the boys were so exhausted,
they just looked at us like we were crazy.
I think Mandee and I are going to coach again next year.
It is a blast already and even though its AYSO....
we are getting into it. :)
We both have matching red shirts that say 'COACH' on the back.
I'll post pictures hopefully on Saturday.

After the game,
we went back to Mandee's house and hung out.
Mandee did my hair and then April came with the boys and we hung out while the men went to Priesthood.
We made duct tape wallets and did Aprils hair.
(we did mine right before our game. Love the darker red)
We caught up and each others lives and wished that we hung out more often.
I have such fun sisters and wish we all got together more! :)
Dee loved going to Priesthood and got a lot out of it.
I love listening to everything he tells me about Priesthood.
They really get a lot out of the speakers without the women distracting them ;)

Sunday
Dee and I laid in bed and watched conference on our computer.
It was so nice to cuddle and just do nothing.
I love listening to conference and I cannot wait until the talks are online so I can read them again.
I always catch something that I missed and want to get everything I can out of it.
After conference was over, we went to my parents house for dinner.
It's so nice that we still live so close :)
I was going to make spaghetti but Navajo Tacos sounded so much better.
Matt, Mandee and the kids were there too so it was another party.
I can never get to much of family time.
We are never dull or boring.
There is always something to laugh at.

This week has a ton in store for me! :)
My birthday with my amazing hubby
Shopping with Lindy,
Layton 1/2 marathon,
Soccer game,
Demo dirby with Maddi and Kayla....
It's going to be a busy/fun week!
I'll let you know how everything goes.

Hakuna Matata

What a wonderful phrase.
Hakuna Matata!
Ain't no passin craze.

It means no worries
For the rest of your days.
It's our problem-free philosophy.
Hakuna Matata!

Our theme for the weekend.
Saturday my little boys played there hearts out again.
We lost 2 -1...but the goals they scored, they didn't earn them.
My adorable little boys are still figuring out the goalie thing.
I thought they understood it, but I guess we will be practicing more at practice on Thursday.
After the game, Dee and I were driving home when Hakuna Matata came on.
(yes I do have Lion King on my ipod) :)
We turned it up and both sand at the top of our lungs.
I sang Timon's part and hubby did Pumba's part.
It was hilarious!

Our worry free day turned into night.
We went on a double with my bestie and by brother-in-law.
(Maddi and Dusty)
We started out at Chili's.....sooo delish as always.
We had a blast talking and catching up with each other.
After dinner, we went to Toad's in Ogden.
There is soo much to do there!
There is mini golf (indoor and outdoor),
laser tag,
go kart racing,
batting cages,
climbing wall,
driving rage
and of course....
and arcade!
The only things we didn't do was the climbing wall, driving rage and batting cages.
We had so much fun laughing and making fools out of ourselves :)
Don't worry....the foolishness has calmed down a little since we are older.
We loved the arcade and won soo many tickets!
Maddi and I sat and played Wheel of Fortune most of the time.
You could win a lot of tickets.
Mostly it was 50 a game!
It was Maddi's turn, she spun the wheel, and we weren't really paying attention to where it landed.
When we looked at the screen both of us froze....
the wheel landed on 200!!!!
At the end of the game, she won 1200 tickets!!!!!
OH.MY.GOSH!!
We probably looked like little girls jumping up and down!
haha!
It was a blast!
It took forever though for all her tickets to come out.
By the end of the night I think they had about 1800 tickets...
Hubby and I did pretty well.
We had about 600.
We had so much fun that night!
and....believe it or not...that was the FIRST double I have been on with my bestie!
We have been friends for....EVER!
It was the best night ever!

Fall is Officially Here!

My all-time favorite season is officially here!
What other season can you have the most beautiful colors popping up everywhere?
Since fall is here, that also means my birthday is coming up.
Woohoo!
But that's just a bonus... :)
My favorite holiday that I am SOO excited for is.....
can you guess? I'm pretty sure you can...
HALLOWEEN!!!!
I love all the cute decorations that come out this time of year.
If they are for fall or for Halloween.
They are my absolute favorite.
I love to see the oranges and yellows mixed in with the little spots of green.
Oh yeah, you can't forget purple, black, ghost white and all those other spooky colors. :)

To add to all the rest of the fun, it's also soccer season!
We had our first game last week but I love waking up when its chilly and sitting on the side of a field watching my little U10 Red Lighting boys play their little hearts out.
The smell that early in the morning in the best smell ever.
If you've ever been cold sitting on the side line watching a game in the morning, you'll know what I'm talking about.
You have little time to pay attention to the cold because your adrenaline is running as you are watching the boys pass the ball to each other
run past the defense to get the shot on goal
pass one more time to a team mate and shoot for the goal.
I love playing soccer and I wish I still played.
But it can't get any better than what I have right now.
Watching my little boys learn what I teach them and also take from practice and put it on the field.
The treats after the game aren't bad either ;)
After yelling at the top of my lungs so the boys can hear me over their parents does take a lot of work.

Now.....one more week until my favorite month  :)

'Most Surprises/Unplanned Events in One Weekend'

This weekend has won the Oscar for 'Most Surprises/Unplanned Events in One Weekend'.
Friday....ooooo.....Friday night was  frustrating.
and I've been frustrated ever since about it.
I caught someone I know very well with my Brother-in-Law.
The thing that makes me the most angry about this, they are doing it behind my back!
I know I shouldn't be this upset about it but... ok....thats my venting about that particular subjet.
I still have the rest of the day to try to be happy.

Saturday was really fun!
Probably the only fun day of the weekend.
We had our first soccer game with the Red Lightning!
I am soo proud of my little 9 and 10 year olds.
They played their little hearts out.
We are positive of the score but it was either tied, or they won by one goal.
That's ok though, because it was our first game and the other team had a one up on us cuz this was their second.

Sunday it was Grandpa Lyle's birthday so we had dinner at Grandma's house.
dinner was good, we were having fun talking, laughing, just chillen, when things came out about the BYU vs. Utah game.
The crap hit the fan.
and......this was all before we were going over to Grandpa Lyle's grave to release balloons.
Miranda and I had some really great talks about family and they way they act.
If the people in your family love each other so much, why do they say just hurtful things...?
None of it makes much sense to either of us.
There was a lot of family issues last night with that side of the family as well as other people's families that we learned of last night also.
The things people say to each other makes me sick.

I never though I'd say this but I'm glad the weekend is over and work is here....
I know the title might not fit...but for me it totally does.
(sorry about the venting. to much on my mind right now...)
