Pregnancy Dreams

When they say that pregnant women have weird dreams, they are not kidding!
These hormones change so many things!
Last night was the second dream where I woke up Dee because of something coming out of my mouth
and also the second dream where my belly was a different "texture" instead of skin.

The first dream where my belly was something "different":

I was back in high school (I really don't miss it) and was in the choir class with my friends.
One of my good friends was also pregnant.
Anyways, somehow my belly was kinda like a bubble.
You know how you blow those huge loooong bubbles?
That's how my belly was.
My friend started poking it and it was growing like a really loong bubble and wouldn't go back down.
I think we finally tied off the end and popped that part and let the whole heal...
This dream was about 2 weeks ago so I can't remember everything

The second dream where I woke up Dee:

It was Halloween and there was a party going on at my parents church.
We were leaving in my car and my brother-in-law was driving with my sister in the passenger seat.
I was behind my brother-in-law, my 11 months old nephew next to me, and Mya(my puppy/dog) next to him.
In the back behind me was my brother and then my sister-in-law sitting next to him.
We were going to turn left in the neighborhood and ended up losing control of the car.
The next thing I know, we are all in the middle of the road hurt and the car was halfway up a tree.
My sister-in-law hit her jaw on the curb and had blood coming from her mouth.
My little sister's legs hurt
I was holding my nephew who was crying. I was trying to stand up to calm him down but my legs hurt so bad that I fell back down.
My brother was sitting next to me in a daze.
(My amazing brother is mentally challenged and also one of the most amazing men that I and you will ever meet)
My brother-in-law was ok and was up walking around on his phone calling 911.
I remember looking around at all of us thinking, 'we are all hurt but we're ok'.
Then I remembered Mya...
I looked in the car and saw a ball of fur.
I throat started to close
I yelled for Mya..."Mya...Mya...Mya!"
She finally got up, she had blood all over her legs and then I looked at her face.
That's when the tears started coming.
Her gorgeous blue eyes were sad, hurt, and confused at what happened.
I started crying in my dream and in real life.
That's what woke Dee up.
He was soo sweet with me.
He held me close and I told him about the dream and cried on his chest.
He stayed awake until I calmed down and was able to fall back asleep.
Such an amazing hubby!

My third dream where I woke Dee up again:

(This happened last night)
I was at work (nothing good can come from dreaming about work) and was talking with someone who just came back to work after having her baby.
I walked back to my desk and started working when Little Man started moving like crazy.
I leaned back in my chair just to watch my belly move.
This time, I saw his whole leg stretch straight out.
My skin was like, translucent and I could see all his toes and everything.
It was so cool and kinda freaky.
I went over to Bethany(she's due a week before me) and showed her what he was doing.
Soon there was a crowd around me watching Little Man stretch.
After he finally calmed down and moving was little, I went back to my desk.
I watched my belly some more and it kinda turned into a balloon.
My belly changed to a flat belly and my belly button was long with the "balloon" on the end where my Little Man was.
It freaked me out and I was trying to push the air with Little Man (yes it was air and not fluid) back into my belly.
I pushed the air in and it went back in my belly and once I let go it went back out to the balloon belly thingy.
I pushed it in one more time and held my belly button so the air wouldn't come back out.
All of a sudden, my belly started to get smaller and the air started to escape.
My baby was still in my tummy....
I started to panic.
Instead of the air just going out like a balloon, it was like being sucked out and my skin sucked around Little Man.
I could see all his features and could hear him crying.
Trying to get out and break.
I could feel him moving around in my hands even though he was still in my suffocating belly.
I picked up my phone and tried calling 911.
It wouldn't dial...
I started crying and calling out "Help me! Help me! Help me! Someone help me!"
That's when Dee woke up and woke me up.
I was still freaking out when he woke me up like it really happened.
I didn't stop freaking out until I reached down and touched my belly and could feel that it was still there.
And I couldn't fall back asleep until I felt him move.
It was the most crazy, scary dream ever!
Again Dee held me on his chest until I calmed down and didn't fall back asleep until I felt Little Man move and could fall asleep myself.

Let me tell you something about Dee...
He can fall asleep on the drop of a dime.
And when I usually wake him up in the middle of the night, I can get one or two words in before he falls back asleep.
He was soo sweet and amazing with my wako pregnancy dreams.
I love him so much!

And that ladies and gentlemen, are some of my crazy pregnancy dreams.
No I didn't watch anything that had to do with high school, bubbles, friends, cars, blood, balloons...nothing.
And I didn't eat anything either.
Those are straight pregnancy dreams.
I definitely won't miss these dreams once my Little Man is here.
And the last two dreams, everything in the dream is how it is in real life.
So it made things worse.

On a more normal note:
It's Thursday!!!!
That means tomorrow is Friday!
And I will be at the zoo for 5 hours on company time!!
So today is pretty much my Friday!
So excited!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was so much fun!
Saturday was Swiss Days in Heber and Dee hasn't ever been and I went once when I was little.
And from what my Mom said it was the day after and they were still cleaning stuff up.
Anyways, last year a few of my sisters went and I thought maybe Mandee would want to go again.
Long story short, I guess they were planning on about 6,000 people there just for the parade!
So all the booths would have been packed!
She said it was like Quilt-a-Bear outside.
Maybe we'll go next year.
I didn't want to go fight crowds.

Instead, we went to Get Air with Mandee, Carter and Reese

It was a BLAST!!
Get Air is a warehouse full of tramps.

One area was for Dodgeball, one for Basketball, foam pits, Little Air (for kids under 46")
Before we got there, Dee was saying that he would probably only jump for 5 minutes then be done.
Right....
After watching them in the pits, I wanted to go jump!

I think we spent most of the hour at the foam pits.
They were so much fun to watch!
Reese was doing soo good with her backhand springs!
Carter liked to Superman into the pits.
I would recommend very light clothes when you go.
Dee had no idea what he was getting into and was covered in sweat after the hour.
It really looked like he got out of the shower with the sweat all over his face.
It was a good workout though ;)
That night we went over to my parents house because I wanted to make some yummy cookie/brownie thingys but needed my Mom's help.
My first batch didn't turn out at all and I ended up throwing all of it away.
I was a little frustrated.
But I didn't give up.
This is such an easy recipe:
One box of brownie mix
cookie dough
Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
In a cupcake tin, with the liners(don't forget these! it makes things a lot easier)
Put about 1/4 cookie dough in the bottom of the liners
add a Mini Reese's in the middle of the cookie dough
pour brownie mix on the top until the liner is about 3/4 full.
(If the brownie mix is runny, add more flower to make it thicker.
If you don't, the brownie will collapse on itself and make it harder to get the deliciousness out of the liner)
Bake at 350 for 18 - 25 minutes
Let cool and enjoy!
It is a lot of chocolate so if you like milk, crab a big cup.
If you don't like milk, like me, put ice cream on top.
They are delicious!

I also helped my Mom finish canning beans.
She had a ton and was nice and canned them for Dee and I.
Yummy garden beans when we move into our house! :)

Monday we went to Hooper Days (Tomato Days)
It's like any other type of "Days".
They had games for the kids,
booths for the adults (and kids to bug there parents to buy them little things),
farmers market (what else can you expect in Hooper?)
and a rodeo.
The rodeo didn't start until 6 (we went around 2) and didn't want to stay until then.
Plus the heat was really getting to me.
So we decided to go home and spent the rest of the evening relaxing in bed watching Netflix.
Seriously one of the best days I have ever had with the hubby!
I hope you had a great Labor Day!
Happy Tuesday!!
(I'd so rather say that then Monday! ;))

Less than a Month

I walk outside in the morning expecting the dry heat to hit my face.
Not looking forward to the hot day.
Instead, I walk outside and feel the brisk morning air.
I'm soo excited!!!
Fall is just around the corner!!
September 22 is officially the first day of Autumn and I am soo excited!!
Yes I am a fall baby but that's not the reason why I love fall so much.

It does add to the fun though ;)
I love the cool whether

the gorgeous changing leaves
the smell of homemade salsa
the decorations
Halloween (yes, my favorite holiday right next to Christmas)
the sweaters and hoodies
apple cider
boots
playing in the leaves
I could seriously go on and on about fall.
Everyday after work Dee hears me say, "fall is coming! fall is coming!! I'm soo excited!!"
Right now he is being cute with me and my excitement for the fall.
We'll see how long it lasts.

Peeps Centerpiece

Fall Table Centerpiece - made from old fence boards and filled with candles, pumpkins and gourds.

In lieu of wreaths.

autumn

In the meantime, we are half way to owning our own house.
And I can't wait to get the keys and get started on the updates we need to do!
Our goal is to be in the house living by the mid/end of September.
That gives me plenty of time to decorate for the fall and for Halloween!
I have so many cute ideas that I was to do.
Dee keeps promising me that we will be in so I can have my fun.
I'll only be able to do limited things in the house 1. because Dee doesn't want to risk anything and 2. my growing belly will only let me do so much. :)
I can at least take off wall paper and can paint my little mans room. :)
They can do all the tearing, knocking down, installing, tiling(i guess i could do this ;)), sanding...
All that fun stuff.
I decided I'll be the Superintendent and bring them pizza for working so hard.
And my Mom will be there too making sure I'm not doing to much.
I've got the list ready for the men and my list ready for me. :)
Just a couple more weeks and we'll know for sure.

WELCOME!

I went shopping today for the first time, after my belly started protruding, and was so frustrated.
I still haven't given in and bought maternity pants.
We'll see how long that lasts.
Dee has even said that I'll give in and buy some.
Maybe I'll just take the buttons off all my pants and keep them somewhere safe so I can put them back on after this little man makes his entrance into this world.
That's the only part of the pants that bugs me anyways..
Well, today I was buying shirts.
I usually wear x-small to small but my boobs are huge and my belly is big.
So I'm in mediums right now.
The reason I was getting frustrated is because I'm just going to grow bigger and bigger the last 3 months and I don't want to spend a lot of money on really cute shirts that I'll only be able to where for a few weeks.
I needed shirts that I could throw on and look cute for the weekends but also something that I could wear to work.
We went into probably half the stores and I was ready to cry because I didn't want to buy anything if I couldn't wear it.
Anyways, I wanted to go get some comfy shirts from Vickies and that's where it all started :)
I got two shirts and some cute sweat pants from Vickies
Found two fall shirts in Vanity
got new tank tops from Aero
and then got some new boots from Forever Young
It felt good that I found cute shirts that I could wear to work and also on the weekends that stretch so I can wear them longer.
Who knew that it would be this hard to go clothes shopping while pregnant.
I guess I could go buy maternity shirts.
Oh well.
:)
Dee was really sweet with me and even wanted to buy more than I was planning on.
He likes to spoil me when he knows I'm having a hard time.
Amazing hubby!

Happy weekend!!!

24 week update

Yesterday I got to see my Little Man again!
I am 24 weeks and my due date was moved up to the 7th of December!
My new Dr. is just as hilarious as my previous Dr. and I couldn't be happier about him!
He is very straight forward with everything.
He doesn't sugar coat anything and tells it how it is.
He doesn't mess around either.
He gets in, tells you how it is, and gets out.
Perfect.
It was so much fun to see how much my Little Man has grown since my last appointment at 20 weeks!
They grow so fast!
And don't stop!
I'll enjoy every day as he changes!
The pictures that he took were great for me but without me showing you where everything is you wouldn't be able to see him.
So these pics I'll just put in his scrapbook and hopefully when I show him when he's older I'll remember what I'm looking at.
We looked at his little face this time.
I saw his eyelid, up his nose, and his lips.
He has no cleft lip so we are good there.

I saw this and thought that it would be a cute idea so here we go:

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? I'm having a hard time with this so I'll keep it to myself :)
Maternity clothes? I got some cute shirts but I refuse to give in to the maternity pants. My Mom is still trying to convince me to buy some.
Stretch marks? Non on my belly that's for sure! and I plan on keeping them off of there! Butt is clear, thighs are also clear. I bet you can guess the last place and oh man....I hate stretch marks. They are the ugliest things ever!
and when you start out at an A- (I was tiny) and grow bigger than some of your older sisters in about a month...no avoiding that one.
Sleep? I usually wake up every night at 1:58. I swear it's the same time every night. If I don't drink any water before bed I can usually sleep until 5. Which I wake up to get ready for work at 5:30 so it works.
Best moment last week? I got to see him yesterday!
Movement? He moves like crazy while I'm at work! I love it! He's starting to make my belly lopsided because he loves the right side. I've only felt him move on my left side once.
Food cravings? The only craving I have had that lasted one day was Reese's peanut butter cups.
Gender? Little Man
Labor signs? None
Belly button in/out? half and half. The top sticks out and the bottom is still and innie
What I miss: Having a flat stomach. I miss wrestling with Dee and rolling over on my tummy in the middle of the night. I miss it so much that I'm having dreams about it.
What I am looking forward to: Getting into my house and getting Little Man's room finished. His is the only room that I know for sure how I'm decorating it.
Milestones: April finally got to feel him last night! haha! Every time she is around she really pushes on my belly to get him to move. I don't think he likes it because he doesn't move until she leaves. Last night while she was making dinner he was moving and she finally felt him twice. It was so fun to see her face light up when she felt him! :)

I have been naughty and haven't been taking pictures of my changing belly because I'm not a fan of gaining weight so it just doesn't work.
I'll get one up some day soon when I look extremely cute.

I found this on my favorite website Pinterest.
This is going to go in my house in my living room with pictures of him around it.

As the house stuff comes along I'll take before and after pictures.
I'm sure you'll be surprised just how much it is going to change!
