Growing Belly

So many things have changed and continue to change.
And I've been having a blast with all the changes.
Dee looks at me like I'm a little kid memorized by the littlest things.
This really made me laugh.
On Saturday we went up to Bear Lake to spend some time with Dee's family that was up there for the weekend.
Before we went up, of course we spent our time at the quiet house by ourselves.
As we were sitting at the table after eating marshmallow mateys(the best cereal ever), my belly started to itch.
As your skin stretches, due to a growing baby, it itches.
Ya know when a cut or even a sunburn starts to heal and it itches?
That's kinda what it is.
But the "thing" causing the itching doesn't get smaller and disappear.
It grows and continues itching.
I use a ton of lotion right now!
Anyways, my belly started to itch.
I pulled up my shirt and was lightly itching my belly when I looked at my changing belly button.
Originally I have an innie.
Now it is half innie half outtie.
It's pretty funny!
I laugh every time I see it.
We'll I moved to sit up straighter and it did something to my belly button.
It made my whole belly button stick out in a cone shape.
I started laughing and it started "bouncing" as my belly bounced.
I laughed even harder!
I hope you can imagine this!
If not...your missing out.
It was the funniest thing I've seen so far in this pregnancy.
Dee was giving me the funniest look as I was sitting there laughing my head off!

Anyways, Bear Lake was a blast as always and I got some good sun! :)
I was jealous that Dee and his brother Dusty got to wakeboard.
I figured it probably wasn't a good idea going at 5 1/2 months pregnant.
So I sat in the front of the boat as far away from the board so I wouldn't jump off the back, grab the board and the rope, and yell "hit it!" :)
Next year....there's always next year. :)

Leaps and Bounds

This year we are totally taking leaps and bounds with our decisions.
Dee is being very picky with his new job choice.
He has turned down so many offers because they haven't been the "right one".

I have put my faith in him on this one.
It has been a long time for him and his waiting(and mine) have paid off.

Hopefully
He had a job interview yesterday with a great company!
They will pay absolutely everything!
They pay all the health, life, dental, vision, etc.
And, they will pay for him to go to school!!
So far it's been a blessing waiting just for this interview.
Hopefully we'll get the call today saying that he got the job!

We are also purchasing our first home!
We have been looking at houses for the longest time!
and I mean looooooongest time!
We finally found one that we could see ourselves living in for 3 - 5 years with at least two kids in the house.
We think it's perfect.
We are starting the paperwork with our realtor to make a bid on the house.
There have been so many prayers going on in our lives right now.

And the last thing, that I can think of anyways, is of course our baby.

We couldn't be more excited that we are having a Little Boy and cannot wait to meet him!
And....I only have 3 1/2 months left!!

It sounds crazy when it is said that way.
Instead of "I'm currently 5 1/2 months along".
It's going by fast!
And we have sooo much to do!

Everything will work out how it's suppose to right? :)
Happy Wednesday!

Busy Weekend

This weekend was really busy for me.
With weddings, house hunting, baby showers, bbq's, baby blessings...
My weekend was a fun chaotic.
All the chaos actually started on Thursday.
I got off work, picked up Dee, went straight to Ogden to meet with our loan officer.
After getting the details for our pre-approval, we grabbed dinner and headed back to North Salt Lake to see Dezzy and his beautiful bride Libby.
We got to relax a little bit and watch the olympics when we got home.

Friday, we went house hunting.
It is soo much more fun when you know you are ready in every way to make that giant leap!
I was kinda stressin out because we had 5 houses that we were looking at and I was worried that I was going to have a hard time narrowing it down to one.
The first one we looked at has good potential and not a lot of updates to do.
Plus a nice yard for Mya to run around in. :)

It was like a double edged sword....the first house was great but it was the first one...we still had 4 more to go to!
And the very last one looked amazing in the pictures! (but pictures and in person are totally different)

Luckily, it was easy after the first one.
The next few were too small, could smell the mold growing (this house actually made me sick! especially with my "Super Senses"), the foundation wasn't built up enough or was sliding.
The first house was the best and is the best out of those houses we looked at!
Whew....
we got lucky there!

Saturday

We got up at 7:30 to go to the Roy Days parade with Mandee and the kids which started at 9:30.
It was really hot....
oh man!
Someone was passing out fans that had their company logo on it so I sported that all day.
The firetrucks are always first.
I don't think I have been to a parade where the firetrucks aren't first.
So we got to see Carter and Matt on the truck!
And....they ALWAYS throw us a ton of a candy when they get to us!
One of the other firefighters actually threw half a bag of taffy at our feet!
We felt a little guilty so Mandee opened the bag and dumped the candy on the road for the other kids around us.
Don't worry, when Carter was done with the parade, he brought back 1 1/2 bags of taffy and said that the firemen still had an unopened box!
It was a blast!
We hung out at the station to cool down for awhile before taking off to Babies-R-Us to register.
Dee's grandma is always asking us what we need so we made it easy for her to see.
It was fun going around the store with the gun scanning things that we want or need without looking at the price. :)
After we registered, we grabbed some lunch, headed to a spa to get a gift card for my friend, ran to zurchers to get balloons, then Dee dropped me off at Emily's for her baby shower.

We are 3 months apart and soo excited to meet little Baby Morgan!
She will be here in about 5 more weeks!

Woohoo!
and on a side note, I only have 3 1/2 months left!!! HOLY SMOKES!
I was at the shower until about 5 when Dee brought Emily's dog back(we watched him overnight so Emily didn't have to worry about cleaning up his hair, Siberian Husky), we helped clean up a little bit more then took off to Mandee's for a BBQ.
And of course, we went to the fireworks.
It was the first fireworks I have seen all year!
We were at Lagoon instead of the fireworks on the 4th and because I get up so early for work and the 4th was in the middle of the week, I went home and went to bed while Dee went to his Mom's for fireworks.
The joys of working 7-3:30 plus a 45 minute drive both ways.... (NOT)
These are the only pictures that I took all weekend because pictures were the last thing on my mind.

I was extremely tired after running around all day. Dee got to take a 2 hour nap...

 Grandpa and Brody

My phone actually does a decent job with fireworks!

Sunday
We had to be up again at 7 to get ready and be down to Lehi for a baby blessing.
It was soo early...
Especially when I was looking forward to sleeping in this weekend.
oh well. I'll try again this coming weekend.
The baby blessing was gorgeous and Kayden is adorable.
Dee and I got to the house before the rest of the fam so I got to hold the star of the day for a little bit :)
Can't wait to hold my Little Man!
It was a gorgeous day and had some delicious breakfast food!
After the blessing we went to Dee's Grandma's to take a nap and wait for dinner.
Dinner was delicious and seeing the Newman fam is always so much fun!
But I was ready to go home and go to bed...
My bed was calling me.
Unfortunately, my Little Man has started getting stronger and he decided he wanted to kick and play around 10 when I was trying to go to sleep.
Dee and I were laughing so hard because he was moving so much!
It was awesome!
And It's fun that Dee can be apart of the pregnancy and feel his little kicks and punches.

On this weeks agenda:
Tour of Avalon for Master Esthetics
(I've been wanting to go back to school for almost a year now but it hasn't worked out. Hopefully I can get everything figured out and get an idea of when I can go back to school)
More house hunting
(Even though we really like the Sunset house, Dee wants to look at some more to make sure that is the house that we want)
Bear Lake
(His fam is going up this weekend and we are thinking about it)
Hopefully sometime this week I'll be able to relax and watch some more Olympics without worrying about something. :)
Happy Monday!

The Best View...

So yesterday was a rough day for me.
Sorry...
Today is a much better day though!
Something happened when I walked in the door from my horrible day at work.
Actually, I saw something.
And that something put the biggest smile on my face.
Yes Dee does put a huge smile on my face and I was really excited to drop my laptop(not literally) and purse on the floor and give him the biggest hug ever.
But there was something on the table waiting for me as I walked in.
I was going to leave that thing at home for Dee but I need all the help I can getting through my day at work.
And this has been the best thing ever!

Dee found this adorable frame and put my Little Man in there.
It was sitting on the table waiting for me to come home and see it.
I have such an amazing hubby that really knows how to make me happy and help me through my "stuff".
I am so excited to meet this little man this winter!
It is seriously going to be the best Christmas ever!
I'm seriously like a little kid when I watch or see anything that has to do with Christmas.
And it doesn't help that I know what my Christmas present is. :)
