My sweet baby boy has RSV.
It's so hard to see your baby sick.
he's congested and had a nasty cough.
we caught it at the beginning so I hope it doesn't get bad enough that we have to go to the hospital.
He had a checkup today and the Dr said that he was sounding good, for having RSV, and that Wednesday should be the worst of it.
He is still a really good baby even though he is sick.
His treatments put him to sleep and he's still his smily self.
He only cried when he's really hungry.
He discovered his hands and wool start to eat them when he's hungry.
After a while, if i'm not paying attention, he'll whine to let me know.
I am really lucky to have such a sweet baby.
Heavenly Father knew I needed an angel.

Finally an update!
So everything has been crazy!
I've figured out my life with my precious baby boy.
To a point anyways...
My sleep schedule is still weird and sometimes I don't get up until noon...
Don't worry...Lyle is still sleeping while I sleep.
I take advantage of him sleeping.
That's what most Mom's tell you to do right?
Lyle is such a good baby!
He goes to bed at 9 and will sleep for sure until 3.
Sometimes he goes later than that!
The longest he has slept has been nine hours!!
It was so nice!
Last night he slept from 9 to 5:30!
I love it because after I put him to bed at 9, I have time to get things done around that house that I didn't have time to do during the day.
So I don't go to bed until 11:30/12.
It's really nice!
He is smiling more and more each day and loves to focus on peoples faces.
He will look you straight in the eyes and stare for the longest time!
His smiling started as he was falling asleep and now he is responding to your voice and smiles with a smile.
I love it!
I love being a Mom!
I have wanted to be a Mom ever since I can remember.
Here are some more updates with pictures:
Sunday night, before Christmas, we were getting ready to head over to Dee's Dad's house for the Bartholomew Christmas party.
Dee walked outside and there was a puddle in our front lawn...
Our water pipe had a leak in it...
I went to the party by myself while Dee dug up our front lawn.
My awesome Dad and brothers-in-law, and my nephew, came over to help Dee dig 4 1/2 feet down to the pipe.
They were all laughs when I came back from the party which was a relief because Dee wasn't to happy before I left.
They got the hole dug that night, finishing around midnight.
The next morning, Christmas Eve, everyone came back and they replaced the pipe and filled the whole.
It was perfect timing for when the pipe broke because after that is when the huge snow storm hit.
If it would have waiting to break, the ground would have been frozen.
And because we did it ourselves instead of going through the insurance, it only cost us 65 bucks!
It was a bitter sweet thing.
The way I look at it is, my lawn needed to be redone anyways. ;)
Christmas morning came.
We didn't have our Christmas tree up or any decorations out.
But this was the best Christmas ever!
Our Christmas present didn't come wrapped in shiny paper with a big red bow on top.
Our Christmas present came from our Father in Heaven.
We were given the most precious baby boy!
Both Dee and I had the best Christmas ever loving our baby!
This was his very first bath and he loved it!!
He still loves his bath time!
He will put his little feet over the side of the swing and hang them in the water.
It is the cutest thing ever!
We have our nighttime ritual where I will feed him, we give him a bath, put his nighttime lotion on, read a story, say prayers than go to bed.
Lyle knows now that it is his bedtime and will put himself to sleep.
It is amazing!
I can lay him in his bed and not worry about him crying or anything.
Just in case he does, Dee is right there next to him going to bed as well.
Aunt DeeDee came over and took the most adorable pictures of Lyle.
This is one that I took on my phone while waiting for DeeDee to get her camera ready.
It was soo much fun!
For New Years Eve, April had a free night stay at the Marriott so that's where we had our party this year.
It was a BLAST!
Everyone went swimming, of course not Lyle and I.
Lyle slept through all the splashing, screaming and laughing.
Cousins Sadie and Reese loved to hold baby Lyle and cuddle him.
And he was our New Years kiss.
The best kiss ever!
Even while all the kids were blowing their noise makers he still slept.
He really is a good baby.
My handsome boy today is 5 weeks and 1 day.
He loves to wiggle and kick his legs.
He is starting to smile, like I said earlier.
He loves to coo and say "ahh". And it is the cutest thing ever!
He has such a sweet voice.
He sleeps 6-9 hours and loves his bath time!
I am going to take pictures just like this at each month mark.
I am also writing him letters telling him of things that he is doing and how he is growing.
One more thing that I am doing, I am going to take a foot print of each month.
The last one I'll do is 12 months.
I will put them all together side by side and put them in a long shadow box and hang it in his room so we can see how his feet have grown.
I actually got that idea from DeeDee.
I love being a stay at home Mom and caring for such a sweet angel.
I will try to post more often but we still don't have the internet hooked up and probably won't get it for a few more months.
I guess I'll have to come over to my parents andeat their food use their computer.
I guess I'll have to come over to my parents and
Happy Monday Everyone!

MIA?
I promise I'm still here!
We don't have the internet at our house right now and are waiting until we get completely settled before we add some distractions to the mix. ;)
But I have a TON of updates and adorable pictures of my baby boy!
