Pic Update and This Weekend

So here are the house pictures I promised.
This isn't all of them but I am going to take more tonight when I get to the house.

Tara and I rockin the masks
During, we found out that there was more wallpaper underneath the gorgeous flowers
And I haven't taken one after but they are just white walls right now.

This is going to be Little Man's room.
On two walls there is this lovely pinkish wood paneling
And on the other two walls there is this amazing pink wallpaper that has a funky design and was a pain to take off.
I'm still finishing his room and will have an "after" picture next time.

And this is going to be our bedroom.
There is no wallpaper and all we have done is tare up the carpet.
I will take an after picture tonight as well.

This weekend we still worked on the house cleaning up the mess that you can see in the pics I just posted.
But before we got to work, we went to play!
While Braxten was playing his soccer game, Dee and Brody wrestled.
I love this little boys laugh soo much!
And if you haven't figured it out from past posts, this is my little buddy.

And you can't forget the silly faces!
We don't like to do smiles.
And it is kinda impossible to get one from this little boy when he is taking pics with Aunt Bobby.

I am currently 29 weeks!
I can't believe that there are only 11 weeks left!

On Sunday we celebrated Grandpa Lyle's birthday.
We had a delicious dinner, went to his grave, sang Happy Birthday, and let balloons go.
It's a tradition that never gets missed.
And Little Man Lyle only has 11 weeks left with Great Grandpa Lyle! :)
I bet Grandpa is giving him great advice!

Home Sweet Home....Almost

We finally got the keys to our house and have made a ton of progress already!
We closed last Monday and got the keys on Tuesday.
We had our first meal Tuesday night.
Cafe Rio of course!
We are doing updates before we move in and have been working every night on the house except for Sunday.
That was a nice break.
Wednesday we went and and I started in our guest bedroom.
It had amazing white with purple and pink flowers all over.
I started to pull it off and noticed another color...
They had more wallpaper under the flowered wallpaper!
I got started with the steamer and it took me two days to finish that room.
While I was doing the guest room, Dee started with the fireplace :)
I had to take many breaks to watch him.
In the dining room, on the back wall, is was a floor to ceiling fake fireplace.
They had a real one sometime during the houses lifetime but it was replaced with a fake one.
Why they did that?
I don't know.
But it made things easier when taking it out.
Anyways, we bought Dee a sledge hammer :)
You can image the fun he had with that thing!
It was so funny to watch him hit the bricks, the bricks would fall down, he'd turn around and look at me like he got caught with his finger in the cookie jar and smile.
It was awesome!
It took him until Saturday to get that finished.
He had to go to the dump and my Dad and Brother-in-law came over to help.

The next room I started to work on is Little Man's room.
It has the worst wallpaper to take off with a steamer.
It was such a headache!
Dee and I finally went to home depot to get wallpaper remover and that helped a ton!
I don't know why we didn't know that from the start.
Probably because my arms are dead after the first five minutes.
You have to "score" the wallpaper with this tool.
It pretty much pokes holes in the wallpaper to the remover can get underneath and release the glue.
Then you use a really sharp scraper to scrape it off.
That's the easy part.
To get the rest of the glue off, you spray with the remover and then take a ruff sponge and scrub it.
Then you wipe it off with clean water and clean sponge.
It is seriously a lot of arm work.
I skipped the cleaning off the glue part because I'm dead after scoring and scraping.
That's ok.
Dee will sand it all off when he sands the other walls to get ready for me to paint :)

Dee started taring up the carpet and the floors look amazing!!!!
WOOHOO!!
That means we don't have to buy floating wood floors or carpet!

We will the original hardwood floors throughout the entire house!
Except for the kitchen and the bathroom.
That will be tile.
This house looks completely different from what it looked like when we first looked at it.
And I can't wait until it's finished and is completely ours!

***Don't worry. I will get pictures up soon. I have pictures all over the place right now***

On the baby side....
This Little Man sure does love to move!
He kicks and punches like crazy!
He wakes me up more and more during the night with his punches but I love it.
I know he's ok until I get to see him again.
Oh yeah...I have now moved to every 2 week appointments....
I can't believe we are that close to meeting this little man!
Only 12 more weeks!

AHHH!
I'm excited yet nervous at the same time!

My life will change forever once he's here!
Another reason I know it's getting closer...everyone that was due before me are having their babies!
This AMAZING girl I grew up with, Natalie, brought her little boy into this world about 2 weeks ago.
My friend Emily brought her little girl into this world a little over a week ago.
My friend from school got to hold his little girl early this morning!
and there are many more that have already had their babies that I haven't listed.
the list would seriously go on forever if I kept naming people.
I get butterflies, both nervous and happy ones, as I think about having my little man.
Good thing I have the house to keep me preoccupied until then :)
I did get to see my little man "chew" at my last appointment.
It was sooo cool!
And he's starting to chunk up!
He has cute round cheeks!
It is seriously amazing the love I have for this little man already.
Same with Dee.
He loves my belly and will lean down to kiss his baby and talk to him.
It is the cutest thing.
It will be the cutest thing to see Dee hold his son for the first time in the hospital...
I can dream...
for a few more months anyways. :)
First things first:

Finish house
Halloween
Thanksgiving
BABY!!

Pregnancy Dreams

When they say that pregnant women have weird dreams, they are not kidding!
These hormones change so many things!
Last night was the second dream where I woke up Dee because of something coming out of my mouth
and also the second dream where my belly was a different "texture" instead of skin.

The first dream where my belly was something "different":

I was back in high school (I really don't miss it) and was in the choir class with my friends.
One of my good friends was also pregnant.
Anyways, somehow my belly was kinda like a bubble.
You know how you blow those huge loooong bubbles?
That's how my belly was.
My friend started poking it and it was growing like a really loong bubble and wouldn't go back down.
I think we finally tied off the end and popped that part and let the whole heal...
This dream was about 2 weeks ago so I can't remember everything

The second dream where I woke up Dee:

It was Halloween and there was a party going on at my parents church.
We were leaving in my car and my brother-in-law was driving with my sister in the passenger seat.
I was behind my brother-in-law, my 11 months old nephew next to me, and Mya(my puppy/dog) next to him.
In the back behind me was my brother and then my sister-in-law sitting next to him.
We were going to turn left in the neighborhood and ended up losing control of the car.
The next thing I know, we are all in the middle of the road hurt and the car was halfway up a tree.
My sister-in-law hit her jaw on the curb and had blood coming from her mouth.
My little sister's legs hurt
I was holding my nephew who was crying. I was trying to stand up to calm him down but my legs hurt so bad that I fell back down.
My brother was sitting next to me in a daze.
(My amazing brother is mentally challenged and also one of the most amazing men that I and you will ever meet)
My brother-in-law was ok and was up walking around on his phone calling 911.
I remember looking around at all of us thinking, 'we are all hurt but we're ok'.
Then I remembered Mya...
I looked in the car and saw a ball of fur.
I throat started to close
I yelled for Mya..."Mya...Mya...Mya!"
She finally got up, she had blood all over her legs and then I looked at her face.
That's when the tears started coming.
Her gorgeous blue eyes were sad, hurt, and confused at what happened.
I started crying in my dream and in real life.
That's what woke Dee up.
He was soo sweet with me.
He held me close and I told him about the dream and cried on his chest.
He stayed awake until I calmed down and was able to fall back asleep.
Such an amazing hubby!

My third dream where I woke Dee up again:

(This happened last night)
I was at work (nothing good can come from dreaming about work) and was talking with someone who just came back to work after having her baby.
I walked back to my desk and started working when Little Man started moving like crazy.
I leaned back in my chair just to watch my belly move.
This time, I saw his whole leg stretch straight out.
My skin was like, translucent and I could see all his toes and everything.
It was so cool and kinda freaky.
I went over to Bethany(she's due a week before me) and showed her what he was doing.
Soon there was a crowd around me watching Little Man stretch.
After he finally calmed down and moving was little, I went back to my desk.
I watched my belly some more and it kinda turned into a balloon.
My belly changed to a flat belly and my belly button was long with the "balloon" on the end where my Little Man was.
It freaked me out and I was trying to push the air with Little Man (yes it was air and not fluid) back into my belly.
I pushed the air in and it went back in my belly and once I let go it went back out to the balloon belly thingy.
I pushed it in one more time and held my belly button so the air wouldn't come back out.
All of a sudden, my belly started to get smaller and the air started to escape.
My baby was still in my tummy....
I started to panic.
Instead of the air just going out like a balloon, it was like being sucked out and my skin sucked around Little Man.
I could see all his features and could hear him crying.
Trying to get out and break.
I could feel him moving around in my hands even though he was still in my suffocating belly.
I picked up my phone and tried calling 911.
It wouldn't dial...
I started crying and calling out "Help me! Help me! Help me! Someone help me!"
That's when Dee woke up and woke me up.
I was still freaking out when he woke me up like it really happened.
I didn't stop freaking out until I reached down and touched my belly and could feel that it was still there.
And I couldn't fall back asleep until I felt him move.
It was the most crazy, scary dream ever!
Again Dee held me on his chest until I calmed down and didn't fall back asleep until I felt Little Man move and could fall asleep myself.

Let me tell you something about Dee...
He can fall asleep on the drop of a dime.
And when I usually wake him up in the middle of the night, I can get one or two words in before he falls back asleep.
He was soo sweet and amazing with my wako pregnancy dreams.
I love him so much!

And that ladies and gentlemen, are some of my crazy pregnancy dreams.
No I didn't watch anything that had to do with high school, bubbles, friends, cars, blood, balloons...nothing.
And I didn't eat anything either.
Those are straight pregnancy dreams.
I definitely won't miss these dreams once my Little Man is here.
And the last two dreams, everything in the dream is how it is in real life.
So it made things worse.

On a more normal note:
It's Thursday!!!!
That means tomorrow is Friday!
And I will be at the zoo for 5 hours on company time!!
So today is pretty much my Friday!
So excited!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was so much fun!
Saturday was Swiss Days in Heber and Dee hasn't ever been and I went once when I was little.
And from what my Mom said it was the day after and they were still cleaning stuff up.
Anyways, last year a few of my sisters went and I thought maybe Mandee would want to go again.
Long story short, I guess they were planning on about 6,000 people there just for the parade!
So all the booths would have been packed!
She said it was like Quilt-a-Bear outside.
Maybe we'll go next year.
I didn't want to go fight crowds.

Instead, we went to Get Air with Mandee, Carter and Reese

It was a BLAST!!
Get Air is a warehouse full of tramps.

One area was for Dodgeball, one for Basketball, foam pits, Little Air (for kids under 46")
Before we got there, Dee was saying that he would probably only jump for 5 minutes then be done.
Right....
After watching them in the pits, I wanted to go jump!

I think we spent most of the hour at the foam pits.
They were so much fun to watch!
Reese was doing soo good with her backhand springs!
Carter liked to Superman into the pits.
I would recommend very light clothes when you go.
Dee had no idea what he was getting into and was covered in sweat after the hour.
It really looked like he got out of the shower with the sweat all over his face.
It was a good workout though ;)
That night we went over to my parents house because I wanted to make some yummy cookie/brownie thingys but needed my Mom's help.
My first batch didn't turn out at all and I ended up throwing all of it away.
I was a little frustrated.
But I didn't give up.
This is such an easy recipe:
One box of brownie mix
cookie dough
Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
In a cupcake tin, with the liners(don't forget these! it makes things a lot easier)
Put about 1/4 cookie dough in the bottom of the liners
add a Mini Reese's in the middle of the cookie dough
pour brownie mix on the top until the liner is about 3/4 full.
(If the brownie mix is runny, add more flower to make it thicker.
If you don't, the brownie will collapse on itself and make it harder to get the deliciousness out of the liner)
Bake at 350 for 18 - 25 minutes
Let cool and enjoy!
It is a lot of chocolate so if you like milk, crab a big cup.
If you don't like milk, like me, put ice cream on top.
They are delicious!

I also helped my Mom finish canning beans.
She had a ton and was nice and canned them for Dee and I.
Yummy garden beans when we move into our house! :)

Monday we went to Hooper Days (Tomato Days)
It's like any other type of "Days".
They had games for the kids,
booths for the adults (and kids to bug there parents to buy them little things),
farmers market (what else can you expect in Hooper?)
and a rodeo.
The rodeo didn't start until 6 (we went around 2) and didn't want to stay until then.
Plus the heat was really getting to me.
So we decided to go home and spent the rest of the evening relaxing in bed watching Netflix.
Seriously one of the best days I have ever had with the hubby!
I hope you had a great Labor Day!
Happy Tuesday!!
(I'd so rather say that then Monday! ;))
