Easter Weekend

Yeah...I know. Almost a week late.
But that's ok! :)
My Easter Weekend was...the BEST Easter I have ever had!
Saturday we had a baptism for Devin's cousin and then burgers after at their house.
It was so much fun to hang out with the Newman family!
Relationships are healing and everyone was so happy! :)
After the shindig, Dev and I went to City Creek with Tom and Annie and their kids.
It was fun to walk around and look at everything.
When I was in my architect class the beginning of 2009, we actually got to see what City Creek would look like.
We used it for one of our projects too!
So it was really cool to actually see everything built and put together.
After City Creek, we went out to dinner with Chase and Emily.
They took us to this really good Indian place in Ogden(23rd and Harrison).
Dev and I have never had Inidan or Thai food and are head over hills for it now!
Oh...cool story about Chase and Emily,
Emily has PCOS, or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (small cysts in the ovaries, trouble getting pregnant, and other problems)
She has a hard time getting pregnant and wasn't planning on anything for a few more years.
Well...she has been having pains in her stomach but all the at home pregnancy tests and the blood test came back negative.
So she thought it might be her gallbladder.
She went in for an ultra sound and....
She was 4 months and 4 days when she found out!
How crazy is that!??
The rest of her pregnancy should go by quick since she's already half way through!
OH....and she's having a little girl!
Baby girl Morgan will be here sometime in September!
And I am soo excited for them!
On sunday we taught our cute CTR 5 kids!
They are a blast and I know I am going to miss them when we move.
This is my second time being in primary and it is the best calling you could ever get! :)
After church it was relaxation for a little bit, then I made the most delicious treats ever!
I made these yummy things..

Hidden Surprise Easter Egg Treats

They were a total hit that night at my families FHE.
We had FHE at Amber and Shawn's house and took a walk through the Forest of Misery.
It was a blast!
I could not have asked for a better Easter!
Being with family and having a good time laughing and playing with kids is the best.

Sleeping

We are moving up.... literally!
haha!
When we moved into my Father-In-Law's house, we got rid of our king size bed.
You could literally fold it in fourths!
I don't think you are suppose to do that to a mattress..
So we bought a queen blow up mattress.
That lasted about 5 months before it got a whole in it and we couldn't find it to fix it.
We ended up sleeping on a memory foam and a flat blow up mattress(kinda defeated the purpose)

Then we added foam pads to the mix.
That made it a little better... as good as sleeping on the floor can get i guess.

When Lindy moved to Cali about 2 months ago, we got the two twin mattresses from her bed.
We put them side by side with the foam pads and two memory pads on top to make a comfortable king size bed. :)
and we were about a foot and a half off the floor.
Last night, we switched beds with Tara.
Even though we are now sleeping in a full, we are off the floor and in an actual bed. :)
Thanks Tara for being so sweet!
I know it's pretty pathetic but hey, we've had fun throughout all our crap that has gone on.
Once we move out we are going to buy a nice, preferably king size, bed.
Oh, and now I don't have to worry about the spiders getting up in my bed!
They've been coming in lately....already had a spider dream that kept me up most the night.
Morning sunrise, appreciating Mother Nature
I love my family so much and am so grateful that they have been so supportive and helpful throughout everything.
